Site of American classical music composer John Mitchell. His music is unique in today’s world. As classical as that of Beethoven or Schubert, but informed by a passion for rock ‘n roll. As accessible as movie music, but of enduring value. Connected to what is deepest and truest in the human heart. On the other hand, he mostly listens to Anthrax, Metallica and Megadeth! (Well, lately it's Hindemith.) The site also contains song settings of poetry by John Donne, William Blake, Emily Brontë, Robert Frost, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Anne Sexton, Sylvia Plath, and others; John's biography, works of John Mitchell: choral music, chamber music, organ and piano music, songs, operas. Also, a fine art gallery, fractal art gallery, free sheet music downloads, mp3, movie and screensaver downloads.
